A solid team performance lifted ONU past a very tough Mt. Union College team this past weekend in Alliance, OH. ONU had 5 different goal scorers in their dominant 6-0 win on the road. Angie Pisut got things going after she received a pass from Jamie Eiben. Stacey Barnhart then put a free kick past the Mt. Union goal keeper for her first goal of the match, making it 2-0. ONU went into the half up by two. The scoring didn't stop as ONU had 4 unanswered goals in the second half from Chelsea Albert, Stacey Barnhart (2nd goal), Kim McGowan, and Maddie White. Getting assists on the day were Kaitlin Sanders (2), Alyssa Merrick, Jamie Eiben, Christina Spinaris, and Therese Scalzitti. ONU is now 9-2-2 overall and 3-0 in the OAC. Another tough week as the Polar Bears welcome Baldwin Wallace College on Tuesday at 4p and then travel to John Carrol Saturday. Thanks to all who continue to support our program and our players! See you this week...
