Week 2 in the books

After a great weekend with the team, the girls and coaches were eager to get back to work. The week began with more 2-a-days and an intersquad scrimmage. By the end of the week the girls were ready to play someone other than themselves. Saturday the alumni came to Ada to "play" the team. It was a good chance for the team to showcase their talent to their family and friends and to beat up on the old ladies. The Bears took it to the alumni and beat them 4-0. Postgame festivities included a cookout and reminiscing about the good ol' days.
This upcoming week is the first week of the season. The Polar Bears will open up their season with Defiance Tuesday Sept. 1st at home and they will be hosting the ONU Classic Tournament Friday and Saturday Sept. 4 & 5. Otterbein, Calvin (MI) and Kalamazoo (MI) will be playing this weekend. ONU will face Kalamazoo Friday at 4pm and Calvin on Saturday at 4pm. The girls are excited to get going and are ready to take on some tough competition.
