The Polar Bears placed 5 players on the All Ohio Athletic Conference Team in 2008. The four first team recipients are Seniors Katie Schaadt, Kristin Reininger, and Erin Stapp. Joining them on the first team is Junior Kaitlin Sanders. Schaadt has been an All Conference selection her entire career at ONU with one 2nd team appearance and 3 first team appearances. This is Reininger's first All OAC selection. Erin Stapp has been previously named honorable mention, 2nd team, and now lead the conference in goals with 11 putting her on the first team. Junior Kaitlin Sanders has been a a first team selection each of her seasons at ONU. Schaadt, a defender, and Sanders, a midfielder, were also players of the year. For both players, this is their second consecutive year winning that prestigious honor. Sophomore Chelsea Albert was named All OAC Honorable Mention for her work in the midfield this past season. This is a great representative of the talent on our team. These individuals can not attain their goals without the help of their teammates, pushing them day in and day out at practice.
