Meet your Polar Bears!

Junior Jamie Eiben #25

Personal Questions:

1.    What is your favorite food? Anything Italian

3.     What is your favorite movie? Sin City or any of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Also anything made by Disney.

4.     What made you choose to become a Polar Bear? Wanted to find the right mixture of academics and soccer.  I wanted to be able to study Pharmacy while still playing soccer on a competitive team.

5.     What is the latest movie you have seen? The new Sleeping Beauty on DVD.

6.     What is the latest book you have read? My Physiology book. Fun fun.

8.     What do you do to prepare on game days? I think of the other times we played that particular team and what the outcome of the game was.  Every team in the OAC presents a challenge.  I also listen to my IPod and bust out some sweet dance moves!

Soccer Questions:

1.     What is your most memorable soccer moment at ONU? Winning the conference last year.

2.     If you weren’t playing soccer at ONU, what would you be doing in your spare time? Probably just focusing on my studies.

3.     What is the best thing about our team? Our ability to strive and overcome adversity.  We’ve been faced with many struggles both on and off the field whether it has involved soccer, academics, or our social life.

4.     How do you think the season is going?  There have been obstacles we needed to overcome as a team, but we were able to face them early on in the season and deal with them and fix them.  Things have fallen into place and we are in a good position heading into the last two weeks of conference play before the tournament.  Our players have gotten a lot of experience which will also help.

5.     What’s in store for the fans of ONU women’s soccer for the upcoming games? Our last three games against Otterbein, Wilmington, and Marietta are going to be intense.  We control our destiny right now.  We have a past with all these teams and know that on any given day one team can beat another if we don’t bring our best to the field.  It will be a great time to show other teams what we are made of.  Hopefully we get a lot of support at these games!
